GET THE RIGHT PRICE FOR YOUR CARAVAN
If you're selling a static caravan or tourer we're here to help you get the best price for it. We
have three tried and tested ways to sell you caravan you choose which is right for you and
we'll do the rest.
Call our helpful sales team on 01646 651122
TODAY!
Option One: We will buy your caravan now!
We can give you an instant decision. We pay a £500 deposit to secure the caravan from
you. Once the caravan is removed from its current pitch we will forward full payment.
We only remove the caravan when all funds to you have been cleared.
With this option we will offer you around the book price based on the most recent
glasses guide price. As a dealer of caravans we offer a fair price but you may not get
the price you are expecting.
In the majority of cases you may be required to offer the caravan to the park first.
Selling the caravan back to the site owner will make you the least amount of money.
Selling your caravan directly to us, on the other hand, will get you the closest value to
the book price with the least amount of hassle. In 90% of all cases we will offer more
than a caravan park will offer and the sale will be hassle free.
Pros: You will be able to sell the caravan quickly.
Cons: You will only get trade price for your van based on glasses guide.
Option 2: Have your caravan shipped to our show ground.
A popular option is to have your caravan shipped to our show ground where we will
store it FREE of charge until it sells. You will be required to arrange the transportation
of the caravan safely to our show ground. We recommend using Ascot Transportation.
How much does transportation cost?
Some people worry about the cost of transportation so here are some approximate
prices you should expect to pay.
1. From Devon to our show ground £550 approx
2. From North Wales to our show ground £650 approx
3. From Scotland to our show ground £900 approx
4. From Weymouth to our show ground £600 approx
5. Within 30 miles of our show ground £250 approx
Please feel free to ask us about transportation costs, we will be happy to advise you.
If you would like us to market your caravan on our website we charge a one off £100
fee for setting the details up and showing your van on our website until it sells. This will
greatly enhance the chance of selling the caravan as our website receives 100ʼs of
visitors both UK and European dealers and private buyers. We have a large annual
spend with google advertising and offer proactive marketing to dealers in 15 countries
with our regular dealer email.
If our sales team sells your caravan for you we will charge a 10% commission.
The benefits of this option is that you will no longer be responsible for ground feeʼs
once the caravan has been removed off site, no storage costs and our team will
endeavor to get the best price possible for you.
Pros: Get your caravan off site to avoid site feeʼs. Your caravan will be sited on a sales
show ground that has daily visits from buyers. No storage costs. Your caravan will be
posted on our successful website to increase sales opportunities.
Cons: You will need to arrange for it to be transported safely to our site. On the sale of
the caravan we require a 10% commission.
Option 3: Sell your caravan on our website today.
One of the easiest ways to sell your caravan and get the most from the sale is to put
your caravan on our website using our simple caravan placement form. This option
does not require you having the caravan shipped to our show ground and also does not
incur a 10% percent commission. This option is a simple one off £100 payment which
can be done online at your convenience.
We will require the exact information from you about the caravan. We can supply
images of a similar caravan from our image library but it is always better to have original
photos of the caravan you are selling.
Once we have all the information needed and the £100 fee is paid we place your
caravan marketing information on our website and it is included in all of our marketing
until it sells.
Pros: Get your caravan in front of 1000ʼs of visitors quickly. One off fee of £100 no
commission to pay when the caravan sells. If you sell the caravan yourself from our
website you will benefit from from a higher price. If the caravan is currently sited you will
be able to fetch a lot higher price.
Cons: You may have to pay site feeʼs for your caravan at its current location until the
caravan sells.
Call or email us today!
If you need more information or for advise on selling your caravan with one of our three
options please feel free to call us on 01646 651122 or email

Hi I own a small caravan park in cumbria just remember caravans depreciate like cars and make sure you have all caravan park rules and regulations in writing and speak to a few different caravan owners on the park and find out if you can sublet or sell the caravan yourself on site and what age it has to be removed from the park if you need to know any more please ask.

When it comes to selling your static caravan, you will first need to check the rules regarding selling with the individual park, as these can vary from park to park. Some parks require that they handle all aspects of the sale (even if selling privately) whilst others allow you to deal directly with the buyer. Our tips are based on the park allowing you to handle the sale yourself.
First off you need to notify the park of your intention to sell, the reason for this is that you are normally required to give them first refusal. If they are looking to buy at that particular time and go on to make you an offer you are happy with, all well and good, if not you can then look to sell privately.
Your first step is of course letting others know your caravan is for sale, the best way of doing this is via the internet, as this is where your advertisement will gain the most exposure, and it tends to also be the most cost effective method, however if you have local newspapers that offer free listings, then it's worth adding your caravan there also.
Always give potential buyers as much information as possible up front, of course they want to know all about the actual caravan itself, but they will normally have many other questions also i.e site fees (also list the sublet fee, just in case they plan to sublet) and any other additional yearly running costs, the age of the caravan, how long it can remain on the park, how many years sublet are remaining, number of people that are allowed to occupy the caravan at any one time, does the park allow pets, how long is the season etc.
Finally, most parks require a commission of approximately 15% (although this can vary from park to park) on the sale of your static caravan, always state clearly if this is included in the price, and also if the price includes site fees, if not be sure to list the cost of these. Also if you plan to leave any contents then be sure to state this and list exactly what (this can be a big plus point for many potential buyers, as it saves them additional costs).
Conclusion, if possible aim to sell your static caravan privately, as you will normally get a much better price.
